I have been helping my brother and his friend and children’s entertainer Mr Yipadee (aka Dean O’Brien) with a very special project this week to aid the Syrian child refugees through Save the Children.
Dean, a dad of two including a newborn daughter, woke in the night with the idea just two weeks ago after watching harrowing footage of the young, desperate children fleeing Syria.
Since then a whole galaxy of children’s TV stars have come on board plus Coronation Street’s own Tina O’Brien – all have volunteered their time to sing on the album and we couldn’t be more grateful.
It was recorded and edited in a week and now Sing-along for Syria has gone live on iTunes today so please tweet your support via @singalongsyria #singalongforsyria – and please buy the album.
It is chock full of popular children’s songs and sung by the presenters and TV personalities they will know well.
This is who you will hear..
