Successful author and all-round nice person Alice Broadway will be in conversation with Nicola Adam, as part of her Lie In with Nicola show on Sunday at Chorley FM. ((Sunday July 29))
Alice, the author of Ink and Spark, is one of Chorley’s biggest literary success stories.
Ink was a breakout bestselling debut Young Adult (YA) novel of 2017, long-listed for the Carnegie Medal among others and her books are not just un-putdownable but beautiful with their eye-catching metallic covers.
Alice is now hard at work completing the third novel in the series, as part of her three-book deal with Scholastic.
Alice, who loves to write in her yellow-camper van, started to write while her second child was just six months old.
She is open in talking about the mental health issues she has struggled with and her experiences raising a child with special needs and adopting.
